DJ Sarah Love - ‘The Hip-Hop M1xshow’ Last week saw the end of DJ Sarah Loves 3 year radio show spot 'The Hip-Hop M1xshow’ on 1xtra.  As mentioned on her final show, throughout the three years she went from only being able to talk for a limited time every hour to finally being able to present the show in the way she wished.  More recently, many well recognized UK & US acts passed through her studio for exclusives & interviews too..it was just starting to become a show which you really looked forward to and regretted missing those weeks when you didn’t manage to catch it.. Sarah Love gained her invitation to join the roster of 1xtra dj’s off of her strong reputation touring worldwide as a club DJ.  This is quite an achievement - particularly as she’s a female Hip-Hop DJ who continues to pride herself on showcasing the people she believes the we need to hear.. For the few days or so you can still listen online to her final show online at http://bbc.co.uk/1xtra  but with plans for her to head over to the US, I’m sure we’re not alone in the thought that 1xtra is surely now going to lack the extra dimension that Sarah Love brought to the station which seems to get more and more commercially driven each year, with the looming possibility of further shake-up’s throughout the rest of the BBC, not only on 'digital’ radio stations. We wish Dj Sarah Love all the best with her future ventures and remind people you can still keep up-to-date with her movements at: http://djsarahlove.com & go check the radio rip of the Dj Sarah Love tribute (ft Black the ripper, Loudmouth & Mystro) track at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQBGytqQzTU
