We are Two. Last Friday saw the Anniversary of our Second Birthday.  It’s been a progressive couple of years in which our show has seen a few of the best rap acts the UK has to offer gracing our stage.  We remain an independent UK Hip-Hop night based outside of any major city in the England but still retain a good following which continues to grow. Performing with us on the nigh itself were acts who have previously performed at Holdin’ Court and were so well received, we had to invite them back for this special occasion.  TPS warmed up with material from their 2010 release Freshly Dug before a competitive open-mic ensued and was eventually won by a local emcee.  Deeflux and fellow Dj / Beat Producer from Natural Selection Brother Beatbox performed new material from their anticipated release ‘Rhythm by Numbers’.  Headline act PROSE received the biggest crowd reaction when performing tracks from both 'The Boom Bap Bootleg’ and 'Force of Habit’. Hosted by Lord Lav, the night ended with Emcee’s including Oliver Sudden, Cracker Jon, Tencho0, Omerta, Morphman, The whole of TPS and Hoodlum demonstrating their ability in a half-an-hour long freestyle cipher. Pictured above: Efeks of PROSE rocks the crowd mid-set.
